FAQ
What is the dress code?
Please join us in formal attire that reflects the elegance and joy of the occasion. Suits, tuxes, sport coats, cocktail dresses, gowns, and elevated skirts or jumpsuits are welcome.
What time should guests arrive at the ceremony?
We recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to allow for seating and to soak in the beautiful church.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, complementary parking is available at Nativity and The Whim. There are about 80 parking spaces at The Whim, so we encourage guests to carpool. Free street parking is also available.
What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?
Our menu accommodates gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan diets. Please indicate any food allergies when you RSVP, or send us a message for special considerations.
I'm traveling to the Twin Cities for the wedding. Where should I stay?
Please see the travel guide for information about hotel rooms and Twin Cities recommendations.
What should I do between the ceremony and reception?
Whatever you want! We recommend taking a walk along the Stone Arch Bridge and historic Saint Anthony Main, or enjoying a beverage at one of the many bars, restaurants, & breweries between Nativity & The Whim. These are some of our favorite spots in the Twin Cities.
Are children invited?
We love all the little ones, but have decided on a grownup-only wedding reception due to venue capacity. Children of all ages are welcome to attend the Mass at Nativity.
